Why we built this
Most early-stage founders treat financial clarity as a reporting exercise. Something you do before an investor meeting, after a board request, when the accountant sends a reminder. The habit never forms because the tools never made it easy enough to form.
Shruti spent 10 years in data and growth, worked on a founding team, and sat on the investment side at a VC. She kept meeting founders with strong products who couldn't clearly explain their own numbers. The data existed. There was just nothing that made it usable. Mark has 28 years in software and two companies behind him. He knows what it costs to make financial decisions without a clear picture.
We built CapitalSnapshot for funded and bootstrapped founders alike, because more startups need to survive the death valley. We want them to reach profitable outcomes, to build companies that last, and to create employment along the way. Financial clarity is how that starts, and it needs to start on day one.
